Flying Bark Productions Pty Ltd, Flying Bark Services Pty Ltd and its related entities (Flying Bark, us, our, we) are in the business of developing, producing, distributing, and financing of film and television productions, including content transmitted by our clients (Business). From time to time, we will need to collect, have disclosed to us, hold, use and disclose personal information in order to conduct our Business (Purpose).

This Policy outlines the processing of information provided or collected on the sites and applications where this Privacy Policy is posted, whether on our own site or via third-party sites or platforms (for example, application processing). Please keep in mind that when information is provided to us via a third-party site or platform, the information given may be separately collected by the third-party site or platform. The information collected via Flying Bark sites is protected by our Privacy Policy, and the information collected on third-party sites or platforms is subject to the third-party site or platform’s privacy practices.

Your Information may be disclosed where necessary to fulfil the Purpose, including but not

● Flying Bark Partners;

● Federal and state screen funding agencies, including The Department of

Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications, Screen

Australia and CreateNSW; and

● Where required or authorised by law.

Personal Information

Personal Information is information that identifies an individual, including names, country of residence, date of birth, and email address (Personal Information). Flying Bark collect your Personal Information for the purpose of day-to-day operations in carrying out its Business. Flying Bark may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the Business, such as where required or requested by Flying Bark’s associates, financiers and clients (Flying Bark Partners). This includes, but is not

limited to:

● Information provided to us directly, for example via interviews, email, job applications, pitch submissions, and employment forms;

● Information received by third parties, for example via applications, ‘following’ or ‘liking’ Flying Bark on social media; and/or

● Data and analytics information collected when you interact with us via our website, www.flyingbark.com.au, or social media accounts. This includes IP address, type of device, and browser information collected to improve the platforms.

Sensitive Information

Occasionally we may collect sensitive information from you. This is a type of Personal Information and may include information about health, ethnicity, or membership of a professional or trade union. Sensitive Information is only collected if necessary to our Business and the administration of our Business, including without limitation The Everyone Project, and if voluntarily supplied by the individual. You may withdraw your consent to the collection of your Sensitive Information at any time by contacting us.

Use of your Information

Sharing your Information with Flying Bark and related entities We use Personal Information for the purpose of which it was collected, or for a purpose reasonably collected to that purpose. If we seek to use your personal information for any other reason, we will first seek your consent.

Flying Bark is part of The Studio 100 Group owned by Studio 100 NV (Studio 100). Studio 100 is based in Belgium, and has associated offices overseas across Europe, the United States, and Asia Pacific. As such we may disclose your personal information to these overseas recipients associated with Flying Bark who may be part of this corporate group structure or an affiliated entity.

Sharing and collection of your information via third-parties

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, Flying Bark will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances Flying Bark may be provided with information by third-parties or you may provide your Personal Information via third-parties, such as where you have submitted a job application via Flying Bark’s recruitment software. A third-party is a person, public authority or entity other than Flying Bark from whom it may obtain your Personal Information. This includes the software used for job applications and human resources management. Flying Bark does not guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

Retention of information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, Flying Bark will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information.

You may access the Personal Information Flying Bark hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact Flying Bark in writing.

In order to protect your Personal Information Flying Bark may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

Flying Bark will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
